idk for me im just mostly surprised someone actually went through the effort of doing this in a random book, especially since i live in a p “liberal/accepting” part of the us (so they claim)?? also irritation because it upset my mom (people in the past have been hardcore racists to/around her) 

and even i’ve gotten so much shit from friends about being asian it gets real old
